Effortless location management

A (thoughtfully) designed location management system for the screen industry.

One tool, no clutter

Replace the patchwork of spreadsheets, maps and folders with one tool.

From budget to blockbuster, Set Space lets you bring every location to life

Three nested layers

Locations

The centrepiece of your database, a pin on the map that stores images, files, contact details and notes.

Collections

Gather your locations into thematic groups to organise and share your ideas.

Projects

Group collections together and manage scripted and actual locations across productions of any scale.

Yours

Take your locations with you from project to project. Grow your personal database and value as a location manager over time.

Private

Set Space gives you full control over what information you want to share and what remains private to you.

Connected

Collaborate with other crew members across a project and centralise all of your location data in one place.

Made for productions big and small

Sam Soh works between documentary, locations and casting, with several years of experience in location management across both screen agency and production. She previously spent two years in VicScreen's Location and Production Support department managing the Victorian locations database — an experience that made her increasingly aware of how much better the available tools could be.

James Meadowcroft is a designer, programmer and educator whose practice focuses on creating websites and digital tools that are both visually considered and functionally robust — exploring how code and design thinking can work together to support contemporary visual communication.

Collaborating with location managers and screen industry experts to transform how we work.
